Bob Russell was the first host of Miss Universe from 1952 - 1957 

Byron Palmer, the second to host the Miss Universe pageant hosted the show twice in 1958 and 1959

Charles Collingwood hosted the show in 1960 when the pageant was moved to Miami Beach, Florida after nine years of the pageant in Long Beach, California.

Johnny Carson hosted the 10th anniversary of the pageant in 1961. 

Gene Rayburn hosted the pageant twice in 1962 and 1963 

 

Jack Linkletter hosted the show three times from 1964 - 1966 

 

Bob Barker holds the record for the longest hosting of the Miss Universe pageant. He hosted the show 21 times from 1967 - 1987. 

 

Dick Clark hosted the pageant four times from 1990 - 1993. His Dick Clark Productions, Inc. also produced both the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants in the early 90s. 

 

Mario Lopez hosted the show twice in 2007 and 2020

Steve Harvey is the host of the pageant in 2021. He also hosted the show from 2015 - 2019

 

June Lockhart is the female co-presenter of the show from 1965 - 1971

 

Helen O'Connell holds the record for the longest female co-presenter of the show. She co-presented the show nine times from 1972 - 1980
