One can describe the country in countless of ways but these stunning visuals will convince anyone to start making their bucket lists and head their way to the following destinations.

Much has been said of other countries most especially the most popular tourist destinations in Asia like China, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Korea but only a few heard of the priceless and timeless beauty of the Philippines which was also one of the less promoted destinations around the world.

A lot of people are saying that the country is always marred by violence, terrorism, crimes, rampant corruption and gives them the impression that the country is dirty and untidy, very hot and humid with lots of social, political and environmental problems as sensationalized and exaggerated by the news let alone few campaigns and marketing discouraging the tourist arrivals although what is really within the country belies all of those and quite the exact opposite for the most part.

These 81 provinces of this country proves to anyone that this country is really an underrated gem of the Orient.

These pictures taken by Instagram users both amateurs and professionals best represent each of the 81 provinces of the Philippines. To view the rest of their photos, you can click their highlighted Instagram accounts and for additional info and details. Camiguin

This island northern Mindanao province is known for its lanzones fruit tree but there's more to lanzones to see in this beautiful island. One such thing is this photo of a wanderlust @yohanhow that transport to a time travel in the past and bring us to the year 1871 when an old volcano in Camiguin island erupted and sunk some areas of it including their cemetery, the big cross in the middle of the sea commemorates the said tragedy.

@luxelifeadventures is a collection of a thousand stunning visuals around the world and its capture of the Katibawasan Falls is nothing short of an epic that is synonymous with Camiguin.

This Western Visayas province north of Panay island is the Seafood Capital of the Philippines and what's better way to showcase this province abundance of nature is through this photo of @eulalox posted in Instagram of this priced most sought after, mouth-watering Diwal shellfish.

Words aren't enough to describe Balacay Point in Barangay Benticayan, Baras which is another sea meets the sky landscape amidst the backdrop of a lush vegetation serenely captured by the lenses of the wanderlust @jon_lakwatsero. His attention might be diverted by other places but his shots of the picturesque Catanduanes is certainly his calling. Can't wait for him to return and have some more shots of that astounding island.

Cavite

The industrial province of Cavite has landscapes of epic proportions to show us. This for example was simply imposing photo taken by @heypril21 of Mount Marami in Maragondon with lots of endemic plants thriving there while some others are just visually stunning to look at.

This province is home to the idyllic Tagaytay with its cool climate and gorgeous visually appealing landscape and the image of @jnpen highlights the main produce of this place which is pineapple in this lovely field.

Cebu

This gorgeous province in Central Visayas is both rich in history and nature's bounty. It never runs out of interesting stories to tell and breath taking places to see.

The province is where the first permanent Spanish settlement in the Philippines is located as well as the birthplace of Christianity in the country as shown in the photo by @lyudmila_dorz of a cross erected on the very spot where the original cross was planted to symbolize the embracing of Christianity by Filipinos.

@The_Philippines is another collaboration site of images taken by various users capturing some of the most beautiful places in the country and this breath taking photo of Kawasan Falls in Badian is just one of the 741 images so far and counting.

Compostela Valley

This mining province is very rich in natural wonders as well. In her mission to accomplish the feat of visiting all the 81 provinces of the Philippines, @cuteehcath discovered the untamed and untapped beauty of this Monkayo Falls in Compostela Valley.

@websterclav wants to treat you to another sauna therapy and this time in Mainit Sulfuric Hot Spring in Maco.

Davao del Sur

Davao Region is home to some of the records of greater scale. It is home to one of the largest city, Davao, the highest mountain peak in the country, Mount Apo, one of the safest city and region in the world and even one of the most beautiful orchids. Davao del Sur has one of the most beautiful view of the majestic Mount Apo just like in this picture of @iamgailq from the Kapatagan valley.

This is the second part of eight series.

Batanes

The northernmost secluded island province of Batanes is also the most picturesque of all. It is a very serene, tranquil land of peaceful Ivatans and the only noise you can hear is the huge waves crashing through the rugged coast of the island. Instagram-worthy image of a simple living in Chavayan is pictured here by @thatneverlandgirl

Caribbean not exactly but that's what I presume at first until I found out that it's actually Mahatao Shelter Port in Batanes and thanks to @akkinnikka for this picture and a lot more in her collections.

Batangas

Seasoned traveler and adventurer @theluckyjohn ventured into the breath taking Pico de Loro and brave the insurmountable odds to have this worth the risk moment at the pinnacle column of the famed island cove in Batangas - just one of his few treasured captures on his account.

@maylucena most unforgettable memory among her 333 images is this vantage view point of one of the world's smallest volcano - Taal in the lake terraces of Batangas.

Benguet

She has been to so many jaw dropping places but for @missskitcat the perfect date would be the top of Mt Pulag. The colors, landscape and amazing ambiance of the great outdoors sets the mood for the romantic plethora of the place in the morning.

@kathyevangelista wants to bring us to her home literally with this image of house stockpiles on a hilly part of La Trinidad. Who wouldn't come with her and feel at home?

Biliran

Backpacker Mawe Trev Ong stays true to his handle @amazingspidermaw as he almost embrace Ulan Ulan Falls in Almeria in midair feeling the rush of the water on his body having some sorts of spa therapy but at the same time rejuvenated thereafter.

@whatstoloveph is a potpourri collection of amazing finds about what's in and out in the Philippines. This Instagram-perfect shot of Sambawan Island in Biliran is enough for us to make it in our bucket list of our next destination. This small province gives us big reason to see and experience the resilient beauty of its enchanting temptress.

Bohol

When one mention Bohol, what comes to mind first is the famed Chocolate Hills that is perfectly captured by @sebastiaanbenjamin as one of his almost 1300 fondest memories of the Philippines. It is so called because the verdant hills turn brown during dry summer season hence the name. Thousands of mounds to climb huh?

@laurascora reveals her soft spot by taking this picture of the world's smallest primate - Tarsier. Who wouldn't be - this nocturnal animal with its ogling eyes bigger than his heart and a head that rotates 180 degrees will surely melt anyone's heart.

Bukidnon

This southern Mindanao province has more interesting places to showcase aside from its large pineapple plantation. Just like this Alalum Falls in Sumilao that havingthe water pouring in a little basin. Thanks @eedenxx for this photo.

@ryderziur encounters the vine trees bring them to life in this photo while on his way to the summit of Mt. Dulang Dulang. Looks creepy but one is rewarded with a spectacular array of colors, landscape and ambiance at the top of that mountain so ready for canvass.

Bulacan

This poetic and lyrical province is known for its exciting caves and wild rivers and even unusual water theme parks but more importantly, its historical significance in Philippine history namely the first constitution of the country was drafted here, first President's oath of office was also held here among others. Health and fitness savvy @kc_contado rode her bike to really feel the ambiance of this poetic province and breathe its air. One of her stop is this beautiful Bakas river in Norzagaray with religious statues depicting the events of Jesus crucifixion.

@joshlunzaga seems lost in his native Bulacan by straying away into Malangaan Cave in San Rafael looking out into these magnificent rocks carved out by nature. This gives us a picture of a province not just by its colorful past and brilliant citizens but of a mystery waiting to be unmasked.

Cagayan

The province of extremes has its fair share of extremities. Where it can be the hottest during summer it can also be one of the coldest during the cool last quarter of the year. In fact, the highest temperature ever recorded in Philippine history was set here. Surely the following images will give definition to the extreme and Cagayan will make sure to reach its maximum potential being the northernmost province in the contiguous Philippines. One such example is this photo of Callao Cave Chapel by @ericcabahugofficial. This cave is not just for spelunking but it also serve as a place of worship for the faithful and a holy mass is sometimes held here.

This image of @jaytenmari swept us off our feet featuring the rugged coasts of Palaui Island off the Babuyan Channel and even fronting the vast Pacific Ocean. Who wouldn't go back to this dreamy coast? and Oh by the way, this is the location of US reality series Survivor: Cagayan.

Camarines Norte

This Bicol province boast of stunning landscapes, lovely shores and beautiful people. One of Camarines Norte's pride as captured by @janjanolarte is Calaguas Island pictured here as tropical alternative to other equally stunning island with its sun kissed sea washing the shores of the gorgeous island nestled in the Pacific Ocean. The perfect harmony of sun and sky defines the tropical paradise of Bicol region.

This is a photo of a passion flower which is one of several species of flora abundant in the province. @Skunxriotriot gives us a depth picture of Camarines Norte interiors which we are only oriented with its astounding beaches for the most part.

Camarines Sur

The location for US reality series Survivor: Philippines and Survivor: Caramoan, @wheresfranky bring us to this enchanting bay of Caramoan where his love deeply rooted and his picture of Camarines Sur left us wanting for more.

From the shores of Caramoan to the hinterlands of the Bicolandia, @jelaguillon shows us the beauty of water form in the interiors of this province like this astounding Naglalalata Falls of Bula. The striking effects of the water against the backdrop of the lust vegetation and very brood daylight gives us the personality that is truly Camarines Sur.

Abra

Surely there are lots to see in every provinces of the Philippines and this one in Abra is one of them. @marcusneil is fond of walking through the depths of his native Abra and passing in one of the most picturesque bridge in the province is something inevitable for him to capture.

@phfirstofficial took this Instagram photo of a local who is enjoying getting wet while in awe admiring one of his province treasured pride, Lobot Eco Park in San Juan town. There are 575 images of Philippines' best in its official account collected from various Instagram users both amateurs and professionals.

Agusan Del Norte

This southern Mindanao province of Agusan del Norte has lots of history to tell. While visiting a local museum, @wanderjon took this photo of an artifact believed to be an original balangay, an old plank boat used by ancient Filipinos for migration travel and trade during the precolonial period.

Another beautiful place captured by @vjlastimado11 in his native Agusan del Norte is this efficient and beautiful use of cave rocks with its water dripping towards the pool in Butuan. Simply stunning.

Agusan Del Sur

The southern Philippine province of Agusan del Sur is teeming with diversity as captured by conservationist @ivanhenares. The Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary is the largest swampland in the country boasts of countless number of endemic species of plants, birds and other animals. Migratory birds from all over the world make this area their temporary habitat for winter. It was on this area where Lolong, the world's largest saltwater captive crocodile in history was captured.

This province also never runs out of beautiful waterfalls and Tinuy-an Falls in Bislig City is just one of them captured by @rizzarn.

Aklan

This Western Visayas province located in Panay Island is famous for its white sand Boracay beach among the world's best and its popular, exotic mardi gras type Ati-atihan Festival. However, another attraction in the province posted on Instagram by @thetirelesspilgrim is the Nabas wind farm, a series of wind turbines erected atop the mountain of Nabas town overlooking the whole Boracay Island.

Boracay Island is the most popular beach party island in the Philippines and there are lots of things to do there outdoor activities, leisure, dining and shopping. Puka beach on this photo taken while on vacation by @nastena_happy_ for Instagram is on the peaceful, more private part of the island. It's one of the comelier side of the island for those who wants peace, serenity and tranquility.

Albay

This province in the Bicol region lies outward towards the Pacific Ocean is the home to the Mayon volcano and beautiful outdoors. Albay is all about fun, thrill and excitement as one can experience and seen in pictures such as this Instagram photo taken by @rj.egon of his friends while having fun riding their ATVs (all-terrain vehicles) toward the foothills of the famous symmetrically perfect Mayon volcano.

@shesheblanche wants to picture out her native Albay as something that could mend broken hearts, dissolve troubles, forget about problems and issues as well as relieve anxiety by capturing the perfect location - Cagraray Eco Park Ampitheater overlooking the Misibis Bay.

Antique

This underrated Western Visayas province located at the western portion of Panay Island has lots of awesome places to welcome everyone. One of these is the sprawling Malalison Island off the coast of Culasi town. Pictured here is @stardustliz having a moment in the rolling hills overlooking the ocean.

@aphroditescruz wants to showcase all interesting, all pampering and all relaxing province that having a sauna like kawa bath in Tibiao town exemplifies that is in Antique. These century-old "kawa" (giant woks) were once used to make muscovado (brown sugar) when Antique province in the Philippines used to produce sugar during Spanish colonial times. Now, the town has turned them into unique herbal bath tubs!

Apayao

From the hinterlands of the north one can have restful respite like @benedictopatrick breathing the fresh air of the pine trees and enjoying the breath taking view of Apayao.

@the_philippines is a collaboration of photos from residents and visitors alike and one stunning picture from the collection best represents Apayao is the mouth of Lussok Crystal Cave and Underground River in Luna town.

Aurora

@johnpaulely has a vivid memory of this Cental Luzon province facing the Pacific Ocean taken among its cliffs - everything is nostalgic.

Among the shores of Aurora province are abandoned houses such as these captured by @joeyarmas23.

Basilan

Among the least favored province because of its reputation is also among the most unlikely province to be exploited by unscrupulous, abusive visitors but thanks to @blueaujeans and we have a glimpse of Basilan's best kept secrets - Bulingan Falls in Lamitan.

@moveslikejeber gives us a gentler, pure image of a tainted province with their Malamawi Beach with a sand that so immaculately clean and powdery fine that could rival the more popular Boracay Island.

Bataan

The historic naive province of Bataan has its significant contribution in Philippines' past and how their people value it is clearly manifested in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Balanga. This masterpiece is a wonderfully recreated replica of old, colonial Spanish districts of Manila and towns in Bulacan, Pampanga, Ilocos and Laguna. @eunram is so smitten with this elegant place at twilight.

@daphnebrylle heads up to the mountains of Bataan to do the Tarak Ridge hiking and inhale the breath taking view of the whole province on the summit.
