Words Soup for the Soul

“May the lord grant my prayer for you: a mind free from sadness, a soul free from sin & a body free from sickness and harm.”

“The sunshine promise a beautiful day; the morning breeze promise a good life and the sky promise peace and freedom and I promise you my heart.”

“When you pray. You don’t see God but you know He listens. When you text me. You don’t see me but you know He listens.”

“If ever I’ll be given a chance. To start my life all over again… I would rather not accept it, why? Cause who knows in that 2nd start.. I will not recognize you, how sad right?”

“I know I don’t have the chance to be with you but I want you to know that you gave me reason to live, you gave me happiness even for awhile, but more than that, you give me a chance to be a part of you!”

My Sims 3 Images And The Stories Behind

Jerson is helping his brother Carlisle with his homework while their mum, Taylor is watching her favorite tv show. What a nice family to move in a peaceful community.

A blitzkrieg fighting erupted at the park between two bitter rival in love and in business. They have misunderstandings and history of bitter rivalry, hate crimes and other weird acts like the circus. Someone will put the heads of the two on two elephant's ass.

Another fighting erupted at the pool due to some foolish acts and crude jokes they might be sensitive and take jokes as offense so the ugly faggot who is temperamental at that time showed her what she got and learned her lesson. Good take he uses only wholesome and good jokes since then.

OMG and the family is shocked to learn one of their daughter is burned while repairing their appliance. Lucky for her firemen arrived on time to save her and the house from totally burn down to ashes. She looks like a tribe performer in Dinagyang Festival Street Dance Competition. lol...

Mother and son are busy fishing in a pond outside their home and they got anchovies, minnows and clownfish, good start for beginners.

The 53rd Ramon Magsaysay Awards 2010

The Ramon Magsaysay Awards on its 53rd year conferred the honorees last August 31, 2010 held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Highly regarded as the Nobel Prize of Asia, the Ramon Magsaysay awards bestowed honors on exemplary Asians whose extraordinary public service works beyond compare inspire and lead others. It was founded to celebrate the leadership example of the country’s third president of the third republic.
Magsaysay Foundation president Carmencita Abella said this year’s seven awardees are “remarkable individuals deeply engaged in reinventing the future for a better Asia, tapping into and strengthening the power of community. Their concerns are clearly quite diverse… but there is one thing this year’s Magsaysay laureates share: a greatness of spirit which infuses their leadership for change. They all build up collaboration and seek consensus whenever possible. They all refuse to give up, despite adversity and opposition.”
This year’s awardees includes Hiroshima Mayor Tadatoshi Akiba of Japan who campaign for nuclear disarmament around the world, Chinese newspaper photographer Huo Daishan, Chinese government officials Pan Yue and Fu Qiping, social worker A.H.M. Noman Khan of Bangladesh and physicist couple Christopher Bernido and Ma. Victoria Carpio-Bernido of the Philippines.

Christopher Bernido and Ma. Victoria Carpio-Bernido, Philippines

CRAFTING NEW PATHS TOWARD QUALITY BASIC EDUCATION FOR THE POOR

The foundation recognizes “ their purposeful commitment to both science and nation, ensuring innovative, low-cost, and effective basic education even under Philippine conditions of great scarcity and daunting poverty.”

Both coming from the affluent families, the Bernidos completed their doctorate degrees in physics from the State University of New York. In the 1980s, they headed the National Institute of Physics at the University of the Philippines, where they were also recognized for excellence in teaching and research. In 1999, the couple relocated to a small town of Jagna in Bohol, a Central Visayas province to run the crumbling Central Visayan Institute Foundation (CVIF) owned by Christopher’s aging mother. The couple thought it more practical to shut down the school but they also saw the opportunity to come to terms with the problems of basic education in the country. In Jagna, the Bernidos continue to hold regular workshops with the country’s top physics teachers, foreign scientists, even Nobel laureates as guest lecturers. They also continue to mentor young scientists from various Philippine universities.

Huo Daishan, China

CREATING HOPE FOR COMMUNITIES AND THEIR DYING RIVER

The foundation recognizes “his selfless and unrelenting efforts, despite formidable odds, to save China’s great river Huai and the numerous communities who draw life from it.”

Newspaper photographer Huo Daishan from Shenqiu in China’s Henan province was cited for his documentation of pollution and marine life kill in the Hua River, the third largest in China. In 2001, Huo staged his first photo exhibit by stringing together on a clothesline more than 15,000 photographs taken with a cheap camera. He eventually held 70 exhibits in various cities. Photographs showing the river covered in noxious foam, and village children wearing gas masks stirred public debate. Although harassed by local officials and factory owners, he succeeded in linking up with local authorities and industries to install water wells and low-cost water filters in the affected villages near the river.

Tadatoshi Akiba, Japan

MOBILIZING THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY AGAINST THE PERILS OF NUCLEAR PROLIFERATION

The foundation recognizes “his principled and determined leadership in a sustained global campaign to mobilize citizens, pressure governments, and build the political will to create a world free from the perils of nuclear war.”

Tadatoshi Akiba is a three-term mayor of Hiroshima who spearheaded “Mayors for Peace,” a global campaign for nuclear disarmament supported by 4,000 cities in 144 countries. The campaign includes educational events, anti-nuclear demonstrations, active participation in the review conferences of United Nations Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and aggressive lobbying with governments and international agencies for nuclear disarmament. Tadatoshi was three years old when a single American atomic bomb leveled the city of Hiroshima. In his desire to keep the memory alive, he started a travel grants program through which visiting journalists can interview bomb survivors. Tadatoshi recognized that his city had the moral obligation to warn the world of nuclear danger.

Pan Yue and Fu Qiping, China

HARMONIZING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

The foundation recognizes “their exemplary vision and zeal, as public servants at two levels of the state bureaucracy, in advocating the inseparability of development and the environment in uplifting the lives of the Chinese people.”

Pan Yue – “for his pursuit of a national environmental program, insisting on state and private accountability, encouraging state-citizen dialogue, and raising the environment as an issue of urgent national concern.”

Fu Qiping – “for his enterprising leadership and undeniable success in demonstrating how village-level economic development can be achieved without damage to the environment.”

Chinese government officials, Pan Yue (vice minister at the Ministry of Environmental Protection) and Fu Qiping (chief of Tengtou village in Zheijiang province) were cited for creating opportunities to address China’s environmental crisis. As vice minister of the environmental protection agency, Pan has actively implemented the Environmental Assessment Law of 2003 and the Open Government Information Regulations of 2007. In 2005, he either warned or shut down 76 energy-generating projects worth billions of dollars for non-compliance with environmental regulations. Fu, on the other hand, is a farmer who has been a village chief since 1980, had used China’s decentralized system to turn Tengtou into one of China’s most prosperous villages by practicing environment-friendly agriculture and using renewable energy. The village of only 830 inhabitants has a waste-water treatment system and solar-powered streetlights.

A.H.M. Noman Khan, Bangladesh

ADDRESSING DISABILITY AS A COMMUNITY CONCERN AND A DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGE

The foundation recognizes “his pioneering leadership in mainstreaming persons with disabilities in the development process of Bangladesh, and in working vigorously with all sectors to build a society that is truly inclusive and barrier-free.”

Social worker A.H.M. Noman Khan from Bangladesh, meanwhile, was cited for setting up a training center for helping persons with disabilities by giving them skills and employment opportunities.

Spain's FIFA World Cup 2010 Players

I was awed by the ups and downs of the Spanish team during last month's FIFA World Cup 2010 competing against the best in the world. Until now, it does not sink in to me that they really are the winners of FIFA World Cup 2010 held in South Africa. With  Euro Championship 2008 to boost their performance, who could've believe they will be overwhelmed by their performance in the past that they forgot the essentials of the game until they were beaten once and their world went upside down. From that, they learned their lessons well and tune up their mind and body for the game and prepare themselves for anything that might happen in an unpredictable sports.Just in time when their head coach Vicente del Bosque do wonders, calibrate and set up an exemplary performance of the team in its shining glory this year at FIFA World Cup 2010. The adage' "Don't rest on your laurels is true it might led to your downfall but rather play your game well. I wonder how and what they (Spain's 2010 FIFA World Cup players) become after the games. I am interested to know about them well and if lucky, meet them personally.

Maria Venus Raj Fans Got Frenzy

Look at the four of the many fans of Philippines' pride and Miss Universe 2010 4th runner up, Maria Venus Raj mixed reactions few seconds after the top 15 semifinalists were announced. This is how fiery the furnace Maria Venus Raj caused to stir not only among Filipinos around the world but also people of different races around the world!

Miss Universe 2010 An Event To Behold

Congratulations to the new Miss Universe 2010, Jimena Navarette of Mexico. I am very happy for you because you deserve the title and you are a beautiful woman worthy of emulation.I just want to remind the Mexicans why they waited for so long to have their 2nd title is that they are rowdy, messy, ill mannered and rude even ranting and jeering against other competitive delegates most especially the United States delegate because remember Miss Universe is solely owned by the Americans so they should behave as pleasant as possible if they want to be treated as such and if they want MUO will be more kind to them. I am also grateful to the MUO under the leadership of Mr. Donald Trump and Ms. Paula Shugart for such a tremendous job and more productive successful years to come and also the same to the host Bret Michaels & Natalie Morales and to all the judges whose difficult task subjects them to heavy criticism thank you.
But most of all, I am very happy and elated by the outstanding performance of Philippines’ pride Maria Venus Bayonito Raj in the Miss Universe 2010 where she ended as 4th runner up. Here’s a woman who, as a young girl, fond of watching beauty pageants, dressed and act like a beauty queen and wondering how to join the most loved beauty pageant. Aside from that trivial information, she made headlines for her inspirational story of how she fights for what is right and what belongs to her. She was dethroned as Binibining Pilipinas-Universe and the right to represent the country in Miss Universe due to her birth place inconsistencies but later reinstated because she proved that she is a Filipino. Despite the fact that you only ended as 4th runner up or top 5 in the prestigious pageant, we are still proud, love and support you and our prayers were answered because you put an end to a 10 year drought of the Philippines in the established and well respected competition. Her awkward answer to the question by a judge, actor William Baldwin generated lots of mixed reactions over the web and among beauty pageant watchers. The controversial question was like: “What is your biggest mistake in life and what did you do to correct it and she responded, “… In my 22 years of existence, I never made a major major mistake I mean a problem because I am confident and the love given to me by my loved ones is enough. Thank you very much.” This is just her safe response answer to the question because she is aware of the befitting answer which she can derive from her story of how she defends bravely against all odds but she made herself uttered a simple and safe answer to protect and respect the Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc., the local franchise of Miss Universe which reinstated her title. Where she exposed and boldly expressed her sentiments over her story on her road to Miss Universe, she could face lots of criticisms, threats even dethronement or stripping of her title and other repercussions she must face after her Miss Universe stint from the Philippine franchise holder. The local franchise, Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc is owned and chaired by Mrs. Stella Marquez Araneta, a Colombian who was herself a former beauty queen as 1960 Miss Universe semifinalist and first Miss International 1960. We still love you Maria Venus Raj because we know you’ve done a great job and you’ve done all you best without harming yourself and your loved protected from the threats if you’ve done the otherwise. What was the biggest reason for our exaltation for you is that you save the face of the Philippines from a bad limelight due to some tragedy happened in the last few days, the accidents and the bloody hostage taking of a police in a bus full of tourists and some Filipinos which took the lives of 6 Hong Kong natives and you offer the competition to your best friend and mentor who convinced you to join Miss Philippines and Miss Universe when you should’ve pursued your career as a flight stewardess. Maria Venus Raj’s mom is the happiest person in the Philippines for achieving such a magnanimous performance. She applied for a passport and tried to secure a visa so she can travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA to support her beautiful daughter but unfortunately, it was too late for her to come because it takes awhile for her visa be processed. Thanks for the generous, supportive and loving Filipinos who paid her expenses and willing to help her travel to USA for the first time because they were just poor and cannot afford such a luxury. I will also give credits to the strong showing of the rest of the 63 candidates who didn’t make the cut but gave us a breathtaking and glamorous show by their presence. Here’s a toast to all of you!
