The highlights of the week-long Dinagyang Festival is held every 4th Sunday of January where the Dinagyang Ati Tribe Competition takes places. Tribal warriors painted in black and dressed in colorful, elaborately decorated tribal costumes dance in a rhythmic and choreographed movements to the sound made from indigenous and synthetic materials.
